With the new GreenBlue label, how does this packaging stand apart from others?
Greenblue is a nonprofit dedicated to sustainable materials. Greenblue assigned the How2Recycle.info label to Ficacci's paper tray cause it boasts the exact recyclability requirements. This achievement makes Ficacci The First table olive Company worldwide to use paper-based packaging, recyclable in The States. 89% Widely Recyclable (TRAY/PAPER) and 15% Not Yet Recyclable (FILM/PLASTIC).

What is your long-term vision for the PaperBoard?
The Paper Board represent the first Ficacci's commitment to an ambitious long-term sustainability vision. Today we use +180 tonnes of plastic per year as packaging materials for our olives. Adapting the PaperBoard.ficacci.com technology to the other upgradable product lines will contribute to a 70% cut in volumes of plastic usage by 2030. This significant reduction is definitively the path we want to keep on growing.

Is there anything else we should highlight?
Ficacci precautionary approach considers the needs of present and future generations and the natural and social systems on which they rely. Our generation needs to take care of the Planet, each in their own way and measure! Children will benefit from what we do today!
