Gli impianti fotovoltaici sono impianti elettrici costituiti essenzialmente dall’assemblaggio di più moduli fotovoltaici, i quali sfruttando l’energia solare incidente producono energia elettrica mediante l’effetto fotovoltaico, Nel 2011 il fotovoltaico Italiano ha prodotto 10,668 TWh pari al 3,2% del consumo totale di energia elettrica mentre tra il 1º gennaio e il 31 agosto 2012 sono stati prodotti 13,713 TWh pari al 6,2% del consumo di quel periodo.  Ficacci Olive Co. ha recentemente sviluppato un impianto fotovoltaico  posizionando 200 pannelli solari per una produzione di energia elettrica giornaliera di circa 150kW.  
L’azienda compie un importante passo verso lo sviluppo eco-sostenibile, limitando l’impatto ambientale e riducendo i costi di produzione.


A photovoltaic system, also solar PV power system, is a power system designed to supply usable solar power by means of photovoltaics. It consists of an arrangement of several components, including solar panels to absorb and convert sunlight into electricity. Since 2011 the Italian PV produced 10.668 TWh or 3.2% of the total consumption of electricity and between the 1st of January and 31st of August 2012 13.713 TWh were produced or 6.2% of the total consumption of that period. Ficacci Olive has recently developed a photovoltaic system upon its manufacturing plant, placing about 200 solar panels for a daily output of 150kW. With this move, our company is at the forefront, limiting its impact on the environment and becoming even greener.
